The Spy Cam - Now the average consumer can buy one

You don't need to be a big-ticket government agency to buy a spy cam these days. Advances in technology have brought the price down on these miniature cameras considerably. And they're much easier to use, thanks to wireless technology. You can buy a hidden spy cam disguised as a smoke detector, an alarm clock, a kitchen can opener, a wall thermostat or a teddy bear.

Most are wireless -- look for a deal that includes a free receiver. Installation is easy -- just mount the camera in the area you want to keep an eye on, and plug the output of the receiver into a VCR, DVR or display device. Most are battery operated, so you won't even have to run wires for power. You can also buy a complete system that includes cameras, a display and a DVR, all hidden in a backpack or purse.
