Hidden cameras can be used to see how your child's caretaker is treating your child (nanny cam) or to keep an eye on your employees when you're away from your business. Due to advances in technology, they are relatively inexpensive and easy to install. And size has been reduced to the point where you can get a hidden camera that is hidden in any number of working, everyday objects. You can get one that looks like a teddy bear, one concealed in a fully functional cordless phone, one that is hidden in a working wall thermostat, or one hidden in a real smoke detector.
Be sure and buy a wirless one (and look for one that includes a free receiver), and there won't be any wires to run to install the device. You can use a video input on your TV to view the output of the camera, or you can use a VCR or DVR (Digital Video Recorder) to record the output. You can even buy the necessary hardware and software to use your existing PC to monitor and record the output of the camera(s). Look for a network option - this will allow you to view live images from your hidden cameras from anywhere in the world via the Internet. For more information on hidden cameras.
